Meteora

Set at the top of the hill, the Meteora venue is like a natural balcony to the Attica region, with spellbinding views reaching as far as the island of Evia. A sense of eternal mystery unravels as you enter through massive wooden Byzantine doors leading you towards a small temple dedicated to Saint George and Saint Demetrius. The architecture takes it form from the Greek letter “Π”, the traditional shape of Orthodox monasteries. And indeed an atmosphere of monastic serenity persists throughout the wings, which host a collection of holy goblets, crosses, and other traditional Orthodox artifacts, which blend flawlessly with art and cultural influences from all over the world.

But there is a twist. Traditional stone and wood building materials coexist with walls made entirely out of glass. The halls and the surrounding area, the Byzantine air and the glass surfaces, the light and the shadows harmoniously coexist, as if they have always been side by side. The sense that the building embraces the garden and swimming pool makes the indoor and outdoor become one, creating the perfect setting for events throughout the year.

The Meteora has two dining rooms, which can host dinner parties for up to 80 guests, while the wings combined with outdoor spaces (covered if necessary) can accommodate up to 400 persons for dinners and up to 1.000 persons for cocktails and receptions.
